Guest Enrique Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 For a new application I was asked to create a new Security Group that does not include any Administrators (because we would show up twice and could cause problems). I would like for this Security Group to auto-populate with users so that when a new user is added to the network, they do not have to be manually added to this Security Group. How can I do this? Additional Info: By default, everyone is added to the Domain Users group. Running W2K3 Server Enrique

There is no provision to auto populate a group, but by default all new users are members of "Domain Users". Administrators are also members of "Domain Users", but even if they are separately listed as members this is not a problem. It happens all the time. And of course you could remove the individual administrator users from the group. -- Richard Mueller Microsoft MVP Scripting and ADSI Hilltop Lab - http://www.rlmueller.net --
