Directing IE to Default Intranet Website

We have a Windows 2003 Server that is a DC and a TS (we know not

recommended). We have users that will only be logging into the TS and

they only use thin-clients to do so using RDP. We are not permitting

the TS users to use the Internet Explorer on the TS -they have to

browse the Internet using the IE connection on the thin-client. The

thin-clients all using WindowsCE and IE 6.x.

On the thin-clients, we would like IE to open to our internal website

(Intranet) which is located on the TS (for example: \\TerminalServer

\sharedfolder\OurWeb\Index\index.html). This is working fine for our

domain users at our main location.

We have an OU created, with a GP linked to it, for these TS users. We

have been able to configure this GP to hide/disable many things on the

TS.

Is this something we can control through GP or should we just be able

to set this in the Internet Connection properties on the Thin-client?

We have not experimented either way. If controlled through GP, where

-- as Computer Configuration settings apply to the TS itself, & User

Configuraion settings would mean we were going to use IE on the TS and

we are not.

Thanks

GPOs can only be used if the computer is a domain member, and I think you

said the terminals were running Windows CE, so that's a no.
