Some Unnecessary Programs starting in Terminal User Session

Recommended Posts

We have a terminal server installed.

Some unnecessary programs startup and show in taskbar, for every user that

Logs On to the Terminal Server with RDP. I want to remove those programs,

from starting up.

How can I do this?

You can check in these locations to see if there are no startup programs

specified:

1.) Local Users and Groups on the TS server (or AD if it is a domain user)

User -> Properties -> Environment

2.) TSConfig settings on the TS server

tscc.msc -> RDP-Tcp Properties -> Environment

3.) Group Policy startup programs

Re: Some Unnecessary Programs starting in Terminal User Session

Thanks Ms. Priya, for your prompt reply.

But there is no program configured to autostart.

The problem that we are facing is, users log on to the terminal server like

a normal TS user. They have access to their desktop on the server. Some

memory resident programs like LAN Card Configuration Application are loaded

with every user that logs in. It shows up in their resident memory program

area of taskbar.

I don't want this application to be loaded for TS Users. How can I do that?

Thanks in Advance,

Regards,

Denis
