Guest Edward Ray Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 Every 10 seconds my 64-bit Windows 2003 R2 SP2 domain controller logs an event ID 1023 error in the application event log. The error says "Windows cannot load extensible counter DLL xxxxx, the first DWORD in data section is the Windows error code." Where "xxxx" = Ugather, UGTHRSVC or MSSCNTRS Googled this error and found nothing except a blog frustration at not being able to find it. The perflib errors are piling up at the rate of three every 10 seconds. Does anyone know what this is and how to stop the error from appearing?
Guest djtentman@gmail.com Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 Re: Getting rid of all of the event ID 1023 errors in my applicationevent log I am having exactly the same issue. Except, it is on my SBS 2003 server. I have searched everywhere and was unable to find a solution that works. Any help would be appreciated. Daryl
