CALs and Domains

I am setting up a Windows Server 2003 machine ONLY to get over the 10 users

share limit in XP Pro. I have over 10 users that need to map a drive to this

server.

 

1) Do I need to purchase a license for every simultaneus user mapping to a

shared folder (e.g. \\server\data)?

a) If so, does it have to be a Domain, or can it just be setup as a

Workgroup?

 

2) Are CALs installed and how is that done? Please list details....
