Hi. i have xp pro, which i had to reinstall due to a virus. I have a 200 GB harddrive with no partitions, but according to xp setup the drive's capacity is 130 GB. How can i lose almost half of my capacity? Can anyone help me?

I'm guessing your setup CD is an older version.

 

Can't remember which revision changed things, but the XP original and possibily XP+SP1 cannot see disk space above 137GB.

 

Install Windows on the space you have, then update your computer to SP3, and use a partition manager to add the unsued space - here's one I use.

Note: You can't go from SP-1 (and I assume the original XP) to SP-3 directly.

You need to go to SP-2 first if you want SP-3.
