M_L_M Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Help. At sometime in the past I have mucked about with my Firefox configuration (probably in an effort to make it faster on my steam powered PC). The end result is that I can't install any new add-ins or even update existing ones. All attempts just generate error messages. I have tried uninstall/and download/reinstall but to no avail Is there any way to reset the configuration to the original defaults? Quote
RandyL Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Hi M L M. Can you tell us the error messages? After you uninstall it you should run a search for leftover Firefox files and delete them.. They will most likely be in C>Program Files. Be warned though that if you do you will lose all your Bookmarks since this will remove everything. Quote We are all members helping other members.
