Hello I'm new here, so please don't be harsh :)

i recently moved to the UK from Holland and I brought my PC and external HD's with me. Naturally these all have European plugs. Although I do have 1 EU to UK adapter and an European extension lead, I was wondering if it will be easier if I just have UK plugs? Is it possible to just replace the last bit of the cable (from the 'block' to the plug/wall), and if so, where can I find those?

Thanks in advance for your reply, much appreciated.

Hi Rob, and welcome to Extreme Tech Support - Free PC Help.

You can buy individual 13 amp plugs to fit to the end of the cable yourself from most hardware outlets.

If you wish to keep all the other European plugs and socket block, just fit one plug to the end of the block cable.

Otherwise computer hardware outlets, Maplin, PC World etc, will have complete British connector cables and leads with the correct plugs and sockets on the ends.

I hope that is of some use for you,

Nev.
