Hi

 

we are having win2003 with SP2, the Default share C$, E$ and Admin$ were

gone, whenever we try to create, the share is not saving, after two mins it

disappear.

 

how to create a Default share?

What exactly do you mean when you say "we try to create"?

How do you know that the shares "disappear"?

if you go to computer management --> Shared Folders --> you can see ADMIN$,

C$, E$, IPC$

 

but in our server all disapear, now only shows IPC$

 

when we are trying to create new share for C$, it disapear after 2 minits.

 

any idea?

Just because you cannot see the shares does not necessarily mean

they don't exist. Start a Command Prompt on the problem

machine, then type this command:

 

dir \\%ComputerName%\c${Enter}

 

What do you see?
