Hi all!,

I'm doing research on what it will take to use Terminal Server.

I already have the server quad core with 4 gig of ram, I know that i will

need to add more ram.

I need to know if i can use our existing hardware and what are the

limitations in doing so.

On the thin client, is it best to go ce?

Then if there's a document to help along my way, that would be great.

No i haven't setup Terminal Services on the server yet.

I don't want to use Citrix at this point.

Thanks for any help you can give

In order for this group to serve you better, we will need

to know a little bit more about what you plan to do with this

server.

How many users? Remote? Local?

What application/s will be used?

What is your plan for this server?

These are just starter questions.

For only 2-10 users, you should be just fine with the server you

have. There are documents out there discussing changes to

TS for office. Hopefully someone else can point you in the

right direction.

Oh, make sure that you install Terminal Services BEFORE you

install any other applications.

You can check out http://www.sessioncomputing.com for more information

on configuring TS.
