Acer Support - Aspire M1200 Specifications

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ 2.3 ghz and 2gb of ram. (additional specs above :B)

I was looking at this Radeon 4850 or 4830, but I dont really know if its compatible with my system. If it's not, then what do I need to change or buy for it to be? Or do you recommend another graphics card within the same price range?

And if it is compatible, then just tell me please =)

Thanks!

A 4830 requires a 450 watt PSU. Your computer's PSU is only rated at 250 watts. You will have to upgrade the PSU before getting a better card.

Hi

Check that the PSU have 20/24 pin power connector for the motherboard (all new ones should be 24 pin)

also check there is enough molex connectors for your HDD's and CD/DVD drives. Some new PSU's only have 2 molex and 3 or 4 SATA power connecters.

Also get one that has GPU power connectors.
