Guest Dan Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 I have a Windows 2003 Enterprise Server 32 bit running on a HP DL380 G5. The server used to only have 4Gb of RAM and at which point Windows only saw 3.25GB which is normal, but I just upgraded it to 8GB of RAM and Windows still only shows 3.25 GB of RAM installed and the BIOS shows 8GB installed when booting. How do I get it to see that I upgrade the RAM to 8GB?
Guest Dan Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 RE: Windows 2003 Ent. x86 only seeing 3.25GB of RAM when is 8GB instal My bad, forgot with 32 bit you have to add /PAE to boot.ini file. I'm used to 64bit just picking it right up. "Dan" wrote: > I have a Windows 2003 Enterprise Server 32 bit running on a HP DL380 G5.
