I know these questions are very basic and possibly one of the FAQs.

 

Question 1

Do I want Vista Ultimate (or) Server 2008 with a minimal set of features (lets say Server 2008 Standard) installed on my development machine?

 

 

Question 2

What is the difference between Desktop version and Server version?

 

 

P.S: when can we download Vista SP1 from the MSDN Subscriptions website?
