my advent netbook when turned on comes on with black screen and

my advent netbook when switched on has a black screen with ...windows failed to start and advises me to insert the installation disk ...it doesnt have a cd slot???... then it says

file:\ boot\ bcd

status : 0xc000000f

info: an error occurrred while attempting to read the boot configuration data. can you help

Hi, do you have a Windows CD? if so you may be able to use it with an external CD to USB drive.

Can you please give us as much details of your netbook as possible. We know that it is an Advent, but we need model number and name, this is so we can look up how to either reinstall the operating system, or do a repair to the operating system.
