Because this quote at the end of an article about high-tech tanks perturbed me.

What with that, and the Unmanned Air Vehicle featured in the British Army adverts using an XBox controller I'm wondering two things:

 

1 - Are console controllers really that good?

2 - Does a young man holding a games controller and watching a video screen still feel connected to the very real situation he's connected to?

 

Somehow I find the whole thing a bit odd... But that's probably the luddite in me.
