%CommonProgramFiles% set to peresonal folder?

Hi out there - we have a windows 2003 R2 w. SP1 where we when we added to a

domain suddenly got a problem - the environment variable %CommonProgramFiles%

where set to the root of the users %HOMEDRIVE% - here H: so

%CommonProgramFiles% is poiting to H:\Program Files\Common Files now instead

of C:\Program Files Common Files. I can see a few otheres which have had this

problem - but no workaround? I cannot override this variable and I have tried

to roll-back each step (and installed application) possibly - any suggestions?
