Plastic Nev Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 Firefox has blocked the add ons that Microsoft sneaked in, based around the .NET framework. These add ons were found to be open to exploitation so Firefox has put out a general block on these. More here- Microsoft exposes Firefox users to drive-by malware downloads | Zero Day | ZDNet.com and here- Silent Install Firefox Plugin Backfires on Microsoft And more here- Add-ons Blocklist | Mozilla For those using Firefox, you will have, or may see, the window pop up that alerts you to the fact these have been blocked. RandyL Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 Just prior to Firefox putting a block on Windows Presentation I disabled it. Naturally I didn't get a warning and still don't. I'm glad you posted this because I'm sure it had many people wondering what was going on. Quote We are all members helping other members.
