No Glass in WS 2008 Application Mode

I have the RTM of Windows Server 2008 installed with TS in application mode

and desktop experience installed. I've verified that the themes service is

enabled and the vista client connects using 32-bit color. I still get the

vista basic theme though, no glass.

 

I know it's supposed to work, but I'm not sure what I'm missing.

Mm, I think that should work, yes.

Are you running a full screen rdp session, I think that's required.

I tried it both ways.... and I made sure to logoff and back on just in

case. I've also tried restarting the DWM session manager on the server

too...
