Why won't my remote desktop mstsc.exe session start?

Hi everyone,

 

I run

%SystemRoot%\system32\mstsc.exe

 

And try to connect to a win2003sp2 DC from xpsp2 client with its host

or IP address.

 

But when I mouse click the "Connect" button it ghosts the button for 1

or so seconds to try and make the connection and then returns to the

"Connect" button.

 

I performed a packet trace via wireshark and got:

 

TCP ms-wbt-server ACK Port 3389

T.125 tcp checksum offloads

 

Any help greatly appreciated!

Ok, are you able to ping this DC? Is the DC it's self setup for RDP access.

I am sorry but I know nothing of wireshark.
