Guest inquisitive1 Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 My mouse is not working. I am trying to delete it in device manager but I can not get to it without the mouse! I am attempting to use the keyboard to maneuver there but am unsuccessful becuase I lack both knowledge & skills to use the keyboard (ALT, control & windows keys). I know it can be done but how?! -- lecurry

TAB key jumps you from field to field 2 ARROW keys move you up/down or left/right within fields 3 ALT + letter key takes you to (underlined) menu selections. -- Don Phillipson Carlsbad Springs (Ottawa, Canada)

I know it can be done but > how?! There's usually some use of the tab key and arrow keys accessing Windows with the keyboard. In many cases these keys can be used to shift the focus between screen items. Look for dotted outlines or color reversals to see which screen object has the focus. Alt-F4 closes the application that's in focus. Alt-Space accesses the menu associated with the title bar icon. That was a little more obvious in Windows 3.1 when that menu had a picture of a space bar on it.
