redgey Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 I am unable to do a system restore. Had this prob a while now. When I do a restore, the programe runs normaly & re starts to finish. After the restart i get a message stating that windows could not restore my settings, & nothing has been changed. (Cannot recall the exact wording) Quote
snow Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Hi redgey, Do you have any norton security software installed? If so, try disabling it when you perform a system restore. If you don't, then your restore points might have become corrupt. The only thing to do in that case is to delete all of your existing ones, re-boot, and create a new one.
