ns2jsh Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 Hi, I've tried connecting my PC via VGA to my 32" HD ready LCD and the picture quality is pretty poor. I was wondering what I would need to do to improve the picture quality. My PC is fairly dated (P4 2.66ghz 512RAM Ge force 4 MX440) and I dont really want to spend too much, so could I get away with just getting a better cable or would I need a new graphics card?? If so which one? Sorry, bit of a novice Cheers James Quote
maynardvdm Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Hi. If your pc and tv supports dvi you can get an dvi cable to connect the pc and tv. ns2jsh Posted August 21, 2007 Author Posted August 21, 2007 Unfortunately my PC hasnt got a DVI connection but in the link you attached it says you can buy a DVI/VGA cable. Would this produce an adequate picture or would I still be better off buying a new graphics card which has a DVI connection? Thanks for your help Quote
