Hi,

I've tried connecting my PC via VGA to my 32" HD ready LCD and the picture quality is pretty poor. I was wondering what I would need to do to improve the picture quality. My PC is fairly dated (P4 2.66ghz 512RAM Ge force 4 MX440) and I dont really want to spend too much, so could I get away with just getting a better cable or would I need a new graphics card?? If so which one?

Sorry, bit of a novice

Cheers

James

Hi. If your pc and tv supports dvi you can get an dvi cable to connect the pc and tv.

Also see this : http://www.datapro.net/techinfo/dvi_info.html

Unfortunately my PC hasnt got a DVI connection but in the link you attached it says you can buy a DVI/VGA cable. Would this produce an adequate picture or would I still be better off buying a new graphics card which has a DVI connection?

Thanks for your help
