magicadam Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 Hello, recently after getting a virus i reinstalled XP and instaled a 3rd hard drive (SATA) so i now have a maxtor PATA (master), seagate PATA (slave) and maxtor SATA. Everything works fine apart from the seagate is not appearing on my computer, it appears in the BIOS and is working fine according to device manager. I have removed the SATA and checked the jumpers so it was the same set up before i reinstalled XP but it still does not work. Any ideas? Thanks, Adam Quote
magicadam Posted October 28, 2009 Author Posted October 28, 2009 Problem solved, did not realise i had to import a foriegn disk in the disk management window. Such a simple solution, only if i had realised this 6 hours ago. Quote
