The increased troll activity as well as anti-trolling is becomming a nuisance. Therefore I suggest ignore lists. These would work in that people would be able to setup which users to ignore. This ignorance could function on several levels: 1) ignoring threads started by users in the list, 2) ignoring posts by users in the list, 3) ignoring posts by and posts quoted from users in the list, 4) ignoring threads with posts from users in the list. These ignore lists would be private so trolls would not know if their posts had been ignored manually or mechanically. And users should be encouraged not to publicize their ignore lists. If the same user was ignored by many people, some graylisting of threads from this poster could be made (not censoring, just posting into the "grey folder").
