jamesbrown Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 hi, I have two LG FLATRON L1942S monitors running with a nvidia geforce 9800 GT graphics card in a split screen configuration. I've noticed recently that i'm getting these faint lines that move about if you look closely at the screen. I've tried to get the screens to auto ajust, but that doesn't work. The best setting to have them on is 75Hz, anything below that and i get these lines. I've managed to fix this problem in the past but it always seems to come back. I've installed the latest graphics driver to try to sort this, but i can still see these lines. I think it's something to do with the graphics and monitor settings conflicting. what can be done to stop this and what is causing it? i get more inteferrance when i lower the Hz...... I know that the monitors are not faulty because exactly the same thing is happening to both of them. Quote

Jelly Bean Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 All I need is the temps when you first install it nothing else. Quote Rwy'n ceisio fy ngorau......................
jamesbrown Posted November 22, 2009 Author Posted November 22, 2009 i think i have sorted it. I ran a malware bytes scan, and it found something in the registry that was called hijack display driver. since that has gone the problem has gone. Quote
