Windows 2000 and DVD disc autoplay problems

We have WIndows 2000 Pro SP4 installed.* We will not be u[grading.* We've installed a new DVDRW into the system but find that the autoplay abilities when inserting the DVD into the drive isnt consistently working and the video player we want set isnt being autoloaded when it does autoplay.

 

What tool can i use or the location i can go to to definitiuvely set the autoplay ability of the DVDRW for DVD movies and where can i set it so that Media Player Classic (the hacked better Media Player) can play them?* Again the system is Windows 2000 Pro SP4.

 

I've already tried installed Windows Media Player 9 and even Media Player Classic (ste to play DVD videos) but everytime the default(?) win2k dvd player seems to popup.* Thats if autoplay even kicks in.
