Guest Alan Edwards Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 Re: wps file Ask the person who sent it to send it as an RTF file. Not all Works files (.wps) can be opened by Word 2000, though you probably didn't install all the conversions at installation time of Word 2000. ....Alan -- Alan Edwards, MS MVP Windows - Internet Explorer http://dts-l.com/index.htm On Tue, 12 Feb 2008 18:41:00 -0800, in microsoft.public.win98.gen_discussion, lutra <lutra@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote: >Hi! Guest MEB Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 Re: wps file Thanks Roger, this system is being used as a test platform [as usual], and some time/for some reason [lots of installs/uninstalls] it did loose a day, which I hadn't noticed. It should be dead-on now, thanks again. -- MEB http://peoplescounsel.orgfree.com _________ "Roger Fink" <fink@manana.org> wrote in message news:%232b$lfgbIHA.3940@TK2MSFTNGP05.phx.gbl... | | | MEB wrote: | > Beyond what the others have said, and using your from "someone".... | > NEVER open anything unless you know that person and can be sure it is | > actually from that person. | > | > | > "lutra" <lutra@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message | > news:F923DCC0-BB38-4A6D-A737-4194E46147AE@microsoft.com... | >> Hi!
