Hello and welcome.

Please do not appoligies for being dyslexic I have a nephew who is and he does perfectly well in college with me as his home tutor.I understand your post perfectly well.

Ok firstly I would like to ask is your XP on the computer FAT 32 or NTFS?

Then I would like to ask is the USB pen drive formatted to FAT 32 or NTFS?

You can simply check this by plugging in the USB pen drive and open disk defragmentation.

You will have to open "My Computer" and right click on the USB pen drive and choose format.

Then from drop down list choose NTFS not FAT 32.

Then format and try loading files again.
