Hello and welcome.

The simplist way to rectify this would be a system restore.

Click start/all programs/accessories/system tools/system restore.

Follow the instructions but pick a date to just before the toolbar was installed.

The computer will reboot during the process.

After running System Restore you will likely have the Google Toolbar again but no error message. If you still have the error but no toolbar reinstall the latest version.

Although an uninstall should be straight forward it seems yours was not. To try to avoid it happening again there are two things you can do.

1. Go to Tools on the Windows toolbar and select manage add-ons or go to Internet Options then Programs and select manage add-ons. Disable the toolbar.

2. Next close ALL instances of Internet Explorer.

After that uninstall the toolbar by using add/remove programs in the control panel.
