Good day... I stumbled upon this post while looking for a solution to my computer problem. I also had every network adapter flagged for an error. Thinking that these very detailed steps would help me remove the problem, I jumped right in using a flash drive and another computer to download the ATF, Anti-Malware, and superantispyware. I ran the ATF, then installed and ran the Anti-Malware. My mistake was in not removing my Trend Micro security suite first. The Anti-Malware caught 7 items and quarentined them. when I tried to restart I caught an error from Trend Micro. I went ahead and installed the SuperantiSpyware program, but can not update since I can't get online.

I couldn't proceed to step 4 of Dirtypolo's directions (Malware disinfection proccess) since I can't get online.

The virus/malware seems to be removed but the network adaptors are still flagged with and error ! so I deleted the drivers and reinstalled after downloading from the manufacturer's site (Dell - by the way).

Have had no further luck.
