your82 Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 hello everyone, i have and old computer an e-machine e-tower 466 with a Intel celeron prossesor. i have downloaded the cd version of open suse version 11.1 and i am trying to get it to boot on the disk, i have gone onto the bios and changed the configurations to try to boot the disk first. ok it still loaded xp. then i swiched the pins to master, still loaded xp. finially i umplugged the HDD and it said no boot disk and to insert one, error code 200 boot failure :confused: so can anyone please tell me what i am doin wrong here is a link with more information (click me) Quote

your82 Posted November 18, 2009 Author Posted November 18, 2009 (edited) Ok i have another problem with installing linix recently i was trying to install open suse 11.1 and during the installation in the system analysis a program popped up names Yast2 i got a message saying: can't copy/var/adn/mount/media.1/media to/var/cache/zypp/rawrepositoryEDr6c5 and this message just under it: can't provide /media.1/media: can't copy/var/adm/mount/media.1/media to/var.cache/zypp/raw/repositoryEDr6c6 :mad:am i missing a file or something?
