Tootech Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Hi, How are you connected to the Internet, with a cable to a router, with a modem, or with a wireless connection to a router? When you tried a new Firefox profile did you delete the old one? Try cleaning the temp files with ATF Cleaner and then installing a running Malwarebytes. Post the results, that will give some idea of possible infections. ATF-Cleaner.exe - www.atribune.org Malwarebytes.org - free version Quote
RandyL Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 I agree Tootech. Malware is suspect. But I always do agree with you. chief you may want to post in the security section as I think you have a very real chance of being infected. Do what Tootech says. If that is not enough post in the security section. Just my minor thoughts on this. Quote We are all members helping other members. Please return here where you may be able to help someone else. Seth Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Your issue is not typical of a malware infection. When the blank screen appears, what address shows in the address bar? Does the problem occur in "Safe Mode With Networking"? Quote Need help with your computer problems? Then why not join Free PC Help.
