dvd to hard drive

Hi, this is nearest section I could find to my problem.

Can anyone tell me how to copy a dvd to an external hard drive, which I can then plug into my media centre for viewing on a tv?

Hey Yes I will help you out Tootech.

 

If we are talking about a movie that you purchased from a store and you wish to rip it to your hard drive and watch it then I am afraid we cannot help with this issue.It is against copyright laws and against forum rules.

 

I see no problem in you popping in the DVD and watching it as other users would.
