Apparently it's the going trend for updaters to clog everything up for attention. As of this evening I've been messing with updates for my blogs look'n'feel, and as I was sorting all the zip's etc. on the desktop, the updater obnoxiously pops up.

 

Explorer.exe appears to crash, the desktop vanishes and I drop a load. Then it all comes back and smiling at me is the flash symbol, asking whether I'd like to update.... and all my desktop icons are stacked to the left.

 

I hate updaters :(
