recently i was trying to install open suse 11.1 and during the installation in the system analysis a program popped up names Yast2

i got a message saying:

 

can't copy/var/adn/mount/media.1/media to/var/cache/zypp/rawrepositoryEDr6c5

 

and this message just under it:

 

can't provide /media.1/media: can't copy/var/adm/mount/media.1/media to/var.cache/zypp/raw/repositoryEDr6c6

 

:mad:am i missing a file or something?

But did you download or install from CD/DVD as I recommend installing from disk.

Could be a few things.

 

Try burning the ISO at a slower speed and having another go.
