Hi,

Wondering if anyone could help me, i am having problems with my pc.

When i turn it on, it goes through the POST Screen until it gets to the windows xp screen with the moving horizontial bar and the goes to a black screen and restarts its self. i tried to reinstall xp, as i was doing it, i got a blue screen come up, not quite sure the error message was saying but it said something like, if this the first time you have seen this screen, then go back and go in to the BIOS system setup and disable any caching that you may have running.

I disabled the l1 and l2 caching as that the only caching that i would see in there. but now it moves extremly slow.

what seems to be the problem here?

take your ram out first cleaned it using a soft brush, use the brush to clean out the ram ports.....how many sticks of ram do you have,,,try one at a time,

give that a go first......need the error code really.
