Trace Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 Hi dee ** peeps I am studying with the open university and have been told I can send my assignments to them electronicly as long as my files are in pdf format. I hand write my work (wot includes lots of maths, sketches and graphs), then scan this into my p.c. (as a jpeg). Any ideas how I can convert these images into pdf? or .... is there some some other method of getting writen work into a pdf (I remember a friend of mine had some kind of pen but dont know if this was a writing tool or just a fancy mouse) Any comments gratefully received as at the moment I have to send assignments by post which means I have to complete them about 7 days before the "cut-off date"! Tootech Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 This is how you do it. Download and install Bullzip PDF Printer and install FREE PDF Printer Restart your PC Find one of your scanned in documents, right click over it and select Print You can then select which printer to use - select the Bullzip PDF Printer Follow the instructions and it will save the pdf to your Desktop and also open it for you. You can also open your jpeg's or whatever picture files you have and print direct from the menu. If you get stuck, come back and I'll do you a quick 'how to' video ;) Quote
RandyL Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 Also check your scanner software. Some will give you option to scan to file as pdf. Open Office can do it too. But knowing Tootech his program is likely quite good. Quote We are all members helping other members. Please return here where you may be able to help someone else.
