I've just been having an interesting discussion with a few people about how best to manage the coding of a DB project, with each of us doing it slighly differently but always revolving around editing tables and SPs in SQL Enterprise manager and then either manually updating source safe or creating a single script for all our DB objects and checking that into VSS. Now I'm not really a fan of this as I think it makes sharing updates harder and disconnects the DB code from source control.

Can anyone suggest a better way of doing this as it seems quite a bad / old fashioned way of doing it?
