I need to store x, y, z for each user. Here's the catch : each user will have multiple x, y, z variables.

What would be the recommened DB Structure for storing this?

I was thinking about taking the lazy way out and doing a single cell and having the data as "x,y,z/x,y,z/" then splitting it to show it to the user. I soon found out that this would be a stupid method because it would be hard to update the variables.

Now I am thinking of doing this:

Username** ID** X** Y** Z

dylan** ** ** * 1*** a** b** c

dylan** ** ** * 2*** b** a** c

The second method seems much more logical to me since I can easily retrieve the data and easily update it.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
