Plastic Nev Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 I will add that Epson are now well known for rejecting alternative so called compatible cartridges, they obviously want you to buy only their own cartridges at their prices, not cheaper from someone else. Trippy Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 I have a D88 that I use compatibles in. Apart from the YOU ARE USING NON EPSON INK blah blah WARRANTY blah blah; I've never had any problems, apart from clicking the continue box. Well worth the hassle when you consider that a complete set of original ink is almost the same as the cost of a new ink jet! Trippy Quote A Cynic is merely an Idealist with his eyes open
RandyL Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 It might be possible to disable the Epson Status Monitor from printer settings. An example of this is Disable the Epson Status Monitor. Yours might be similar. Quote We are all members helping other members. Please return here where you may be able to help someone else.
