Validation not working

I power up my computer. It boots up to the log on screen. When I attempt to

log on it tells me that this version of windows needs to be activated. I

click on yes I would like to activate now. Another windows pops up and tells

me the product is already activated please click ok. I click ok and it then

logs me off and the whole process begins again. It was having no trouble with

the computer before this began. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please follow this simple troubleshooting procedure, courtesy of MS MVP

Carey Frisch:

1. Download and install the WGA Diagnostic Tool

http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=56062

2. After running the WGA Diagnostic Tool, click on the "Windows" tab and

then click on "Copy to Clipboard".

3. Next, visit the following website and create a post in the "WGA

Validation Problems" forum and paste the results of the WGA Diagnostic Data

in a detailed post:

http://forums.microsoft.com/Genuine/default.aspx?SiteID=25

4. A WGA troubleshooting specialist will analyze the data and recommend an

appropriate solution.

You're stooping to copying and pasting from the KING of copying and

pasting???

Carey never posted anything original in his entire online life here.

Even if true, what has that to do with anything? Most of us pass on what we

have learned or read elsewhere. What's wrong with that? What counts is if

the tips are helpful.

Re: Validation not working

And what gems of good advice have you come up with?

I have yet to find a post where you have actually given anything other than

rude and/or condescending comments. After reading 12 months worth of your

posts I have not found one green check mark beside any of your posts!

If I am mistaken, then provide this forum the evidence that you have

actually helped someone here.
