How can I install software onto only the administrator (me) user account?

Re: software install

That's a function of the software installer. If it ends up with

shortcuts in "All Users", just move them.

Re: software install

You just move them from the "All Users" folder to "your" folder by "Drag

and drop". R-click on the Start button, and select "Explore All Users".

Re: software install

bib,

You might want to move the shortcut to the program out of the All User area

and into his own Start menu area.

In greater detail,

Start || Rtclk on MyComputer || Explore || C: Drive (or whatever drive he's

used for Win XP) || Documents and Settings || All Users || Start Menu ||

Programs || Move the desired folder or file from here to -- || Documents and

Settings || Joe HotShot AdminGuy (or whatever his account name is) || Start

Menu || Programs and drop the moved folder/file here.

This is all based upon the program installer software (not the person)

wanting to install the program in the All User area.
