Sony VAIO Hibernates IS there a Patch?

My Sony Vaio suddenly began to Hibernate & wont fully stay in start mode.

Sony says its a Hardware issue, Could it be a Windows XP issue, if so is

there a patch, could it be viral?

If Sony is telling you it is a hardware problem then I am sure that it is

just that. What is Sony telling you that you need to do about the hardware?

 

You can't patch a hardware problem in software. You can patch how software

uses the hardware but that does not sound like your issue.

 

If the machine is operable then you can run a great variety of malware

solutions, but Sony would have you doing that if they thought that was the

issue.

Maybe if you send it to Sony, they can patch the hardware issue.
