RandyL Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Hi ron. We really need a whole lot more information. make/model/number Exact error messages Exact details on the steps. What recovery disk? No offense but you need to give us much more to go on. There are thousands of computers with tens of thousands of hardware components and millions of software out there. What computer do you have. Desktop or laptop or netbook? What software is on it? What do you use it for? Do you have antivirus protection? I could ask a thousand more questions but the point is that is there anything more you can provide? If not this could take a very long time. We want to help so please tell us anything you can. USB keyboards do not get recognised until Windows starts up, you need to use a PS2 keyboard and then all should be ok Some MOBOs have an option to enable USB keyboards, but you wont get to the BIOS with a USB keyboard which is a pain Quote Intel Q6600 @ 4Ghz (Watercooled)Asus P5K premium black pearl4GB OCZ Reaper 8500260GTX Join Free PC Help - Register here Donations are welcome - here PC Build We are all members helping other members. Please return here where you may be able to help someone else. After all, no one knows everything and you may have the answer that someone needs.
