Re: Uninstall

Hey PA Bear.

I'm want to uninstall a game but there is no "UNINSTALL" file. The game is

not in ALL PROGRAMS nor is it in ADD or REMOVE PROGRAMS. I checked in

PROGRAM FILES where it's installed and there's no UNISTALL file there either.

When you installed the game, did it tell you where it was going to install the game?

Did you check the installation package for viruses and malware?

Re: Uninstall

Don't want to just erase it (Medal of Honor: Allied Assault) because I know

that doesn't get rid of the entire program.

If you insert the cd does the splash screen offer an uninstall option?

Uninstall

Installed the game over and over again throughout my different pc's.

Yes, I know exactly where it was installed. No I don't believe that EA

would have a virus embedded in it's games.

Why you couldn't state the that in the first place I don't know...

The following is the command line to uninstall "Medal of Honor: Allied Assault"

**Note the command line will wrap.

RunDll32 C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\INSTAL~1\ENGINE\6\INTEL3~1\Ct or.dll,LaunchSetup "C:\Program

Files\InstallShield Installation

Information\{0DEA94ED-915A-4834-A87E-388D012C8E02}\SETUP.EXE" -l0x9

That above is found in...

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Uninstall

and searching for.. "Medal of Honor Allied Assault"

Re: Uninstall

One trick that often works is to reinstall it, and then uninstall it. And

a reboot in between is often advisable.
