how to use sysprep to create computer image?

Hi,

 

I am trying to use sysprep to clone computer image for XP pre. I created

sysprep.inf file on reference computer, but don't know how to create the

image? Do I have to use third part image software/

 

Please advice!

The short answer: Yes,

 

The better answer: Win+F1 || type sysprep into the search box and hit the

Enter key || pursue the topics listed in the left pane.

Yes, you're are right you need a 3rd party hard drive imaging program, like

Norton Ghost, Altris Rdeploy, there is also a shareware hard drive imaging

called DriveImageXML http://www.runtime.org/dixml.htm
