to grow ms market share?

 

i would not spend a cent - but take the hit on share price - in an announcement / action to out do googles "do no evil" folklore.

 

1.* transfer kernel to linux (and all other open source apps (ff / ms sql etc)* open source*WMP - fire 25 to 50% of workforce - use money to buy design / front end companies (work on targeted UI's - close 80% of offices - establish tele-comutting on steroids

 

2. ditch msn and live - come up with new name that means trust - offer free services (with ads) or paid (without ads) *yahoo aint that name. be known as TRUST* (not ads)

 

so ...end of day - id have blown over 40 billion dollars doing nothing - but - would the market / consumers / developers like me better?
