Puzzled Over CALs

Hi all

 

Can anyone clarify the CAL situation for me please?

 

I have one or two users who have both laptop and desktop machines. The

person/client is the same, but they can logon to Windows services and

Exchange via either device. Technically is this one CAL or two for this

type of user?

 

Do administration accounts on the servers themselves class as CAL for

Exchange?

 

If either of these cases are considered CALs then I believe we may be

approaching capacity.

If I add one too many user to AD or one too many Exchange account, will a

prompt occur to alert me?

 

Windows Server2003 and Exchange Server2003 with Outlook2003 and 2007

clients.
