PAE Switch enabled by default

I'm adding PAE switch to many of the servers in my farm that have 4GB+

memory. I was considering adding the switch to all my servers and my

build template by default. Microsoft doesn't have this switch enabled

by default and I'm wondering if there is some reason (performance?)

that would cause me not to have PAE switch enabeld on ALL my servers,

including ones with less then 4GB memory.
